Savings at credit unions are called shares because they represent your share
in the credit union. Club Accounts allow you to save as much as you want each
pay period for a specific purpose. E&G EFCU offers several interest-bearing

Share Accounts
Your Share Account is your "share" in the credit union, but it is also
a good start for all your savings goals. Open a Share Account for any purpose.
Indivudual Retirement Accounts
An IRA offers a great opportunity to plan for the future.
Traditional IRA
Up to $5,000 per year can be invested, and in some cases, the contributions are
tax deductible. Members 50 years of age or over can contribute up to $6,000 per
year. Share Certificate IRAs are also available with a minimum balance of $500
and terms of 1-3 years.
Money Market Accounts
If you are looking for a higher yield on your investment, yet still need access
to the funds, our Money Market Account is right for you. This is an account that
has a minimum investment requirement of $2,500, and three withdrawals are allowed
per quarter from this account without a penalty.
Club Accounts
Holiday Club
The holidays are a lot more fun when you know the money is ready when you are
for your holiday shopping or vacation needs. If you didn't have a Holiday Club
Account for this year, don't make that same mistake again. Our Holiday Club runs
from October - October.
Vacation Club
You work hard all year. Your vacation is your time to relax and refuel for next
year's tough demands. Have you planned well for that earned time off? Our Vacation
Club is exactly what you need to get the vacation you deserve. So, stop by the
credit union and open your Vacation Club today and make next year's vacation the
break you deserve! Our Vacation Club runs from June - June.
Share Certificates
Share Certificates are a great way to earn higher annual percentage yields. Our
certificates come with terms from 6 months to 3 years, and they provide a liquid
and worry-free investment. The minimum investment is only $500. We also have IRA
Certificates available.
