After several months as E&G’s CEO, I am pleased to inform you that we have several new initiatives underway. These new initiatives will enhance our services to you and overall value of your membership. 

We have developed a service strategy we are referring to as “2020 Vision”, designed to build on our proud tradition of high-touch personal service, bringing you high quality service when and where you want it.  

Our credit union team has been actively pursuing a new data processing system that will allow us to serve you better, and faster. Towards the later part of 2020, we expect to provide members with progressive mobile banking services. This will make it easier than ever to do your banking 24/7, wherever you are. Also, by the end of 2020, a new and enhanced loan portal will be available to expedite your home equity, auto or personal lending needs – again, making it easier on YOU to get help from us when you need it.

I am very excited to announce that we recently partnered with GreenPath Financial Wellness, a non-profit whose mission it is to empower people to lead financially healthier lives. Through this partnership, members will be able to access a large number of financial counseling services, at little or no cost. Several FREE services include:

  • Budget Counseling – Budget overview, Action Plan, guidance 
  • Credit Report Reviews – Review credit report with member
  • Pre-Purchase Housing Counseling (HUD Approved)
  • Mortgage Delinquency Counseling
  • Rental Counseling – (Member is concerned about losing housing due to landlord/tenant issues)
