We are here for you each and everyday!

Dear Members:

It is nice to see some positive news about the regional economy slowly returning to improved operational conditions. We are actively planning to return to a more normal operating status, with in-person transactions resuming, as appropriate conditions allow. 

While an exact date has yet to be chosen, we expect to begin to allow members into our main office facility in mid-June. 
We will communicate the exact date once it is known. Our team misses our members and looks forward to seeing your (partially covered) faces again!

More importantly, we continue to help members with their borrowing needs each and everyday! 

Whether it be a need for financing a vehicle, purchasing a home, or a personal emergency, we are here to help you in a professional and prompt manner. 

Our staff has done an impressive job serving the membership under stressful circumstances these past several months, so please offer them kind words when you can – they deserve it!

I am happy to announce that, beginning in June, we will have a Facebook page that will be used to communicate with all of you on a more regular basis. You will be the first to know when it goes live so that you can “like” the page and stay informed!

A national non-profit, GreenPath offers judgment-free-counseling and advice (free-of-charge) to people facing debt and other issues. 
Whether you are experiencing a temporary disruption to your paycheck, a longer-term income loss from layoff or job loss, or are just worried about your financial future, GreenPath’s NFCC-certified counselors will walk through your whole financial picture and help you identify options that can relieve stress, and make it easier to bounce back. 

For those dealing with debt, GreenPath can also help you to explore options for that may be available to you through your creditors as a response to the COVID-19 crisis, such as reduced late fees or waived penalties.

Temporary Staff & Hour Changes

During this challenging time we have instituted some changes in our hours and staffing. They are as follows:

  • Mt. Vernon Staff will be serving members from our Hartsdale Office
  • Hours will be Monday-Friday 9am-4pm, we will not be open until 6pm on Thursday for now.
  • For their safety, our staff will be formed into 2 teams and work on a two day rotation.

E-Statements Fast, Easy & Safe


An e-statement is the best option for members to review their regular Image of laptop computerstatements. This free service lets you view your statement from the moment they become available, usually the 1st of the month. Plus, e-statements are much safer since they cannot be stolen from your mailbox or get lost in the mail. This also saves you filing space, since the system will archive up to 18 statements, allowing you to look back to older statements when you need to.

To sign up for e-statements, you must be enrolled in home banking system. you will need to log into home banking, click on “Your preferences”. Then click on “e-statement selection” and choose “Electronic”. Click yes to save settings and you are all set.

If you choose to continue with paper statements, a $2.00 paper statement fee will be assessed for each statement. the $2.00 fee will be deducted from the primary share account.

*$2.00 Paper Statement Fee will be assessed each statement starting in September 2017 for members who are over 18 and under 65 years of age and are receiving paper statements.

E&G Employees FCU is looking for volunteers willing to share their wisdom and leadership skills, by becoming a member of our volunteer board of directors or part of our supervisory committee. The board of directors, in consensus with our management team, helps to steer the direction of the credit union. The supervisory committee helps insure that members receive the very best in service. The time commitment for a board of director position is about 3-4 hours a month and the supervisory committee is about 1 hour per month.
